About
Software director for regulated industries.
I've spent fourteen years in software, always for organisations that can't afford surprises. Defence, aerospace and air traffic control first, then utilities and finance, and for the last few years medical devices. I started in test, which turns out to be a good place to learn how software really fails, and moved through team leadership into director roles.
I'm based on the south coast of England and work with companies across the UK and Europe, remote-first with travel as the work needs it.
